Just found these pictures on my computer, from degree project. This was when I would send Steve Madden (steef, if you will) photo updates of how many frames I had done, versus how many were left to do. I get a weird pang in my stomach when I see these images.

I've never done festival submissions before so this is a whole new experience. And I don't really know which to submit to - so I'm just gonna gamble on some. Hoping my film will find its way into one.

So, I am getting ready for my trip on Sunday. I am flying to Texas to do Habitat for Humanity and it's coming at (probably) the most inconvenient time. I am trying to get as much animation done, edited, and printed before I leave, because I plan on coloring the frames on the plane there and back.

So I started editing my live-action for my degree project. I taped myself talking to the camera - just stream of consciousness, and I have about 45 minutes worth of material to work with. While I was editing, I started noticing that my face does crazy things while I talk? I had no idea.

Now I am very self conscious.

So after much stress, I finally captured live-action footage for my Degree Project. It took 3 different filming sessions, over an hour of tape, and 3 cameras to get the job finished. But alas, it happened. Now that I have that done...I have to edit it and find the juicy details. What will make people want to watch this? What stories are interesting enough?

Your guess is better than mine.

So, I'm in the process of writing my senior degree project - which is going to be a film about O.C.D. and my experience with it. I'm working on figuring out how to make it comedic without being disrespectful? I'm not making fun of it but some of my stories about growing up with it can be quite comical. I have been studying Woody Allen's style of writing. We'll see how this goes.
